CHICAGO, IL — Minyoli Taiwanese Noodles, located at 5420 N Clark St. in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood, is celebrating its one-year anniversary this May, coinciding with Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. The milestone marks a year of success under the leadership of Chef Rich Wang, who has brought a modern, personal twist to Taiwanese comfort food.
To commemorate the occasion, the restaurant has introduced a curated selection of non-alcoholic cocktails alongside new specialty beverage flights that include alcohol, offering a diverse and inclusive experience for guests.
Among the highlights of the new drink menu are two standout zero-proof cocktails that reflect the restaurant’s commitment to balancing tradition with creativity:
Night Market Fruitstand
This bright and herbaceous drink draws inspiration from Taiwan’s bustling street markets. It features a base of unsweetened oolong tea paired with guava juice, fresh lime, and basil. A dash of soy sauce adds a surprising umami finish. The preparation involves shaking the ingredients over ice and serving the chilled mixture in a rocks glass, garnished with a basil leaf.
Babygirl
This floral and tangy creation blends hibiscus and goji tea with sweet yogurt and lime juice. Basil adds a subtle aromatic layer, while simple syrup rounds out the tartness. Like the Night Market Fruitstand, it is shaken and served over ice with a basil garnish.
Minyoli continues to build on its reputation for showcasing Taiwanese flavors with thoughtful innovation, making its anniversary celebration a reflection of both cultural pride and culinary evolution.
