Italian liqueur brand Villa Cardea has announced that its award-winning Limoncello will be available in Morrisons supermarkets.
This is the brand’s second major supermarket partnership, as Villa Cardea looks to increase its presence in the off-trade ahead of the summer.
As part of the LMB UK drinks portfolio, the lemon liqueur will be available in over 480 Morrisons supermarkets nationwide, with an RRP of £12.50 per 700ml bottle and 22% ABV.
The new launch in the UK follows its current performance in Asda stores, where it is the only limoncello available in the grocery store spirits aisle.
Made in Bergamo in northern Italy, Villa Cardea’s traditional limoncello is crafted using a unique natural recipe with lemon peel from Sicily for a rich and balanced taste that transports drinkers to the sun-soaked lemon groves of Italy.
Best enjoyed chilled, or as part of a Limoncello Spritz cocktail (recipe for which can be found at the end of this story), providing key cross-selling opportunities for retailers.
