Kirker Greer has announced a new distribution agreement to bring its Ukiyo Japanese Spirits and Born Irish Whiskey brands to stores across Australia. This partnership aims to offer consumers a distinctive drinking experience while catering to the specific needs of various food and beverage venues.
Strengthening Presence in the Asia-Pacific Market
This move aligns with Kirker Greer Spirits’ broader strategy to establish itself as a leading player in the Asia-Pacific spirits market.
The Ukiyo range includes Blossom, Yuzu, Tokyo Dry Gins, and Rice Vodka. Alongside these, Born Irish Whiskey offers a modern blend of single malt and single grain Irish whiskeys, crafted with chocolate malt, roasted barley, and vanilla for a rich flavour profile.
Proof Drinks Australia: The Chosen Partner for Growth
Kirker Greer emphasized that both brands bring fresh, innovative products to the Australian market. Proof Drinks Australia was selected as the ideal partner to successfully introduce these spirits into retail venues nationwide.
Ryan McFarland, Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer at Drinksology Kirker Greer, said:
“We are focused on creating long-term value for our brands, our partners, and ultimately, our consumers. Both Ukiyo Japanese Spirits and Born Irish Whiskey are built on bold ideas and unique execution. Proof Drinks Australia shares our passion for premium quality and a different way of doing business. Together, we are building a strong foundation for meaningful growth in key international markets.”
A Tailored Partnership for Venue Success
The collaboration is designed as a tailored partnership to meet the unique demands of each venue. Proof Drinks Australia will collaborate closely with its industry partners to offer innovative services, engaging events, and customized support. These efforts aim to help operators differentiate themselves in a competitive market.
Drew Doty, Managing Director of Proof Drinks Australia, added:
“Ukiyo Japanese Spirits and Born Irish Whiskey bring truly compelling products to our portfolio. We are proud to support these exceptional brands that not only provide Australian consumers with great drinks but also offer a strong brand identity and story. This partnership fits perfectly with our vision for 2025 and beyond.”
Previous Successful Launches
Kirker Greer launched the Ukiyo range in Singapore last year in partnership with distributor The First Pour. More recently, Ukiyo Yuzu Gin was successfully introduced to 210 grocery stores in the UK, marking strong growth for the brand internationally.
