Coles Liquor Crowned Retailer of the Year
Coles Liquor emerged as Retailer of the Year, earning more awards than in any previous year. The retailer’s own-label wines secured multiple accolades:
Beyond the Wilderness Riesling won Own Brand Wine of the Year with an impressive 97-point score.
Winton Road Rosé claimed Best Own Brand Rosé.
Ovation Cuvée took home Best Own Brand Sparkling Wine.
The Italian Postcard Montepulciano earned a gold medal, bringing Coles’ total to four golds.
Coles Liquor’s wines achieved the highest average score of all retailers at the competition.
Quality and Value Stand Out
Three of Coles Liquor’s four gold-medal wines are priced at $25 or less, underscoring the quality available at an accessible price point. By contrast, the overall London Wine Competition’s Wine of the Year—Isabelle Winery’s 2022 Wild Oak Chardonnay—retails at $46.
