Twilight Tail Series Kicks Off May 17
The inaugural event of the Twilight Tail series will take place on Saturday, May 17, featuring a special performance by internationally acclaimed bartender Shingo Gokan and his team from The SG Tavern in Tokyo. Known for their innovative mixology, The SG Tavern brings a taste of Tokyo’s vibrant cocktail culture directly to Perth.
World-Class Guests from Top Bars
The series will host guests from some of the world’s best bars, including those featured on the prestigious World’s 50 Best Bars list. Each event will highlight signature cocktails from leading international bars, offering Perth locals and travelers a rare opportunity to experience global mixology without leaving the city.
For the opening night, Songbird Bar will feature signature drinks from sister bars The SG Tavern and The SG Club in Marunouchi, Tokyo, renowned for their inventive cocktails and exceptional craftsmanship.
Bringing International Mixology to Perth
Marco Barsotti, Beverage and Bar Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Perth, shared his excitement:
“Following the huge success of last year’s partnerships with Salmon Guru, Galaxy Bar and Maybe Sammy, we wanted to expand the experience and bring a taste of global mixology that is usually only available in international capitals to Perth.”
