The 44th annual Kapalua Wine & Food Festival is set to take place from July 10 to 13 at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, bringing together acclaimed vintners and culinary talents from Hawaii and around the globe. The multi-day event will feature a diverse lineup of experiences, including wine tasting seminars, winemaker dinners, and live cooking demonstrations.
Highlights on July 11 include a specialized wine tasting seminar focused on pinot noir, followed by a multi-course luncheon and cooking demonstration led by renowned chef Rick Moonen, widely recognized as the “Godfather of Sustainable Seafood.” That evening, guests will be treated to a six-course dinner prepared by celebrity chefs Rick Moonen, Maneet Chauhan, and Zach Laidlaw, alongside the culinary team of The Ritz-Carlton Maui. Featured wineries for the evening include Maggy Hawk, Freemark Abbey, Brewer-Clifton, and The Vineyard House.
The program continues on July 12 with a morning seminar spotlighting the wines of California’s Santa Barbara County, followed by a tasting dedicated to Napa Valley varietals. The day concludes with the festival’s signature Grand Tasting Gala, an evening affair offering a wide array of gourmet cuisine and premium wines.
The festival wraps up on July 13 with a final tasting event showcasing Champagne and caviar pairings. The closing day also includes a live cooking demonstration by celebrity chef Maneet Chauhan, a two-time champion of the Food Network’s “Tournament of Champions.”
Tickets are available for individual events at varying prices. A full festival pass, priced at $1,250 per person, provides access to all seminars, two celebrity chef demonstrations, the Grand Tasting Gala, and an exclusive VIP winemakers reception on July 10.
