Castle View Restaurant at Leeds Castle is set to mark English Wine Week with a series of exclusive events and offers, highlighting partnerships with leading Kent vineyards, including Chapel Down, Wildshark, and Domaine Evremond.
The celebration begins on Saturday, 21 June, featuring special by-the-glass wine offerings available during both lunch and dinner services. Throughout the week, the restaurant will host curated experiences showcasing the region’s finest wines, with guests encouraged to book in advance. Evening reservations are open to all, with no requirement for a Leeds Castle Visitor or Explorer Day ticket.
The festivities commence with a collaboration between Castle View and local winery Wildshark. Alex Tudor will be present to guide guests through wine flights and recommend pairings for the restaurant’s new summer dinner menu. This event is unticketed, but early booking is advised to secure a table.
On Wednesday, 25 June, the spotlight shifts to a ticketed Wine Paired Dinner featuring Chapel Down. Hosted by Henry Buss, the evening includes a tutored tasting of the vineyard’s acclaimed wines, paired with a four-course Kentish tasting menu and canapés. Tickets are priced at £95 and are available via the Experience section on OpenTable.
The week concludes with the exclusive launch of Domaine Evremond, a collaboration between Taittinger and Hatch Mansfield. This final event offers a first taste of their Classic Cuvée, alongside canapés and panoramic views of Leeds Castle from the restaurant’s terrace.
English Wine Week at Castle View Restaurant runs from 21 to 29 June. Guests are invited to visit daily for expert wine guidance and to experience the best of English viticulture in one of the country’s most iconic settings.
