Experience and Expertise

Wicker’s experience spans large-scale distilleries and artisanal pot stills. She has even grown heirloom grains in Franklin County. While at Widow Jane, Wicker helped build a lasting portfolio of brands. She also assembled a team of blenders who still lead the brand today. Her consulting firm, Saints & Monsters, took on several projects until she joined Whiskey Thief.

Recent History and Legal Context

Wicker left Garrard County Distilling after only a few weeks. Recent reports indicate that Garrard County has halted production and faces a $2 million lawsuit from contractors. Her move to Whiskey Thief marks a turning point in her career after these unexpected events.

Looking Forward

Wicker shared her enthusiasm for joining Whiskey Thief. She praised the brand, the distillery, and the tasting room. She also commended Zausch’s achievements over the past five years.

“It’s an honor to join this authentic Kentucky team,” Wicker said. “I can’t wait to get started.”

Her arrival is expected to strengthen Whiskey Thief’s distilling operations and support its growth in the Kentucky whiskey scene.
