Downtown McKinney is set to come alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of North Texas’s top breweries during the upcoming Craft Beer Walk, an event designed to celebrate local businesses and community spirit.
Scheduled to take place in the heart of McKinney, the event will feature 20 beverage stations located inside participating local shops. Attendees will receive a commemorative Craft Beer Walk cup and a detailed map guiding them through the event, enabling them to sip and stroll through the historic downtown area.
The Craft Beer Walk will showcase an impressive lineup of renowned breweries, including Tupps Brewery, Union Bear, Altstadt Brewery, Community Beer Co, Stone Brewing, Saint Arnold Brewing, Rahr & Sons Brewing Co, Deep Ellum Brewing, 3 Nations Brewing, Texas Ale Project, Martin House Brewing, Manhattan Project Beer Company, Lakewood Brewing Co, and Armor Brewing Company. The event will also feature craft spirits from Western Son Vodka, Horse Neck Bourbon, Lockwood Distilling, and Big Machine Distillery.
Organized in partnership with One Heart McKinney, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting the community, the event aims to bolster small businesses while offering a unique tasting experience. Additional attractions include a vendor market surrounding the square and a photo booth sponsored by Huffines Kia McKinney.
Tickets are priced at $35 per person and are available on a limited basis. Attendees will select their arrival time during registration to ensure smooth crowd flow throughout the day.
The Craft Beer Walk is supported by key sponsors including Russell Realty and the McKinney Community Development Corporation, with Downtown McKinney playing a vital role in the event’s organization.
