Coppa Cocktails has unveiled a new 200ml can range featuring three exciting flavours: Spicy Margarita, Paloma Spritz, and Coconut Daiquiri. This launch marks the brand’s first product innovation since MG Destilerías acquired Coppa Cocktails in 2024.
Flavours That Bring Classic Cocktails to Life
The Spicy Margarita adds a fiery twist to the Mexican favourite, blending tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and chili pepper. The Paloma Spritz offers a refreshing, slightly bubbly mix of tequila, grapefruit, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, the Coconut Daiquiri combines premium rum with natural coconut and lime juice for a tropical finish.
Each recipe is crafted by expert bartenders using natural juices, genuine distillates, and carefully layered ingredients.
Creating a True Cocktail Experience in a Can
Manu Giró, CEO of MG Destilerías, explains the brand’s philosophy:
“We created a real cocktail in a can, not an alcoholic soft drink. Our new range combines bold flavours, expert mixology, and visual appeal. The 200ml size fits perfectly with the ‘drink less, drink better’ trend. At 10% ABV, it delivers the purity and strength of the original cocktail.”
Market Trends Support RTD Growth
Data from IWSR shows that canned ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails are booming in Europe. The category is expected to grow at an annual rate of 12%. Premium RTDs are leading the surge, with a 49% increase in value reported by 2023.
Taste remains the top reason consumers choose RTDs, followed by alcohol content and quality ingredients.
Targeting Mobile Consumers Across Europe
The new 200ml Coppa RTDs aim to attract on-the-go drinkers and new customers. The cans will be available this summer in Spain, Portugal, the UK, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, and Norway, supported by dedicated marketing campaigns.
The recommended retail price for each can is €3.50 ($4).
Additional Formats and Industry Recognition
Beyond the new cans, Coppa Cocktails also offers products in 700ml, 100ml, and 8L bag-in-box formats, as well as 20L and 30L KeyKegs.
Three Coppa cocktails recently won gold medals at the 2025 Masters of Premixed, Ready-to-Drink, and Hard Seltzer competition.
Earlier this year, MG Destilerías teamed up with MBG International Group to launch premixed cocktails in the German market.
