This initiative aligns with CAMRA’s ongoing support of the Craft Beer Channel’s Keep Cask Alive campaign, which aims to promote and preserve the tradition of cask beer amid a challenging market landscape. The curated beer list reflects the expertise and dedication of CAMRA’s regional representatives, who continue to advocate for the survival and growth of cask beer.

In a parallel effort to safeguard this cultural heritage, a petition seeking UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage status for cask beer has surpassed 26,000 signatures, moving closer to the 100,000 required for parliamentary debate.

CAMRA Chairman Ash Corbett-Collins emphasized the organization’s commitment: “Our Regional Directors began their CAMRA journey as volunteers, driven by a passion to protect and promote the unique experience of enjoying a pint of cask beer in the UK’s pubs. This Beer Day Britain and Northern Ireland, we are proud to share an exceptional range of cask beers with the public.”

Corbett-Collins also highlighted the significance of supporting cask beer production in Northern Ireland, citing Boundary Brewing as one of the few local cask beer producers. He called on the Northern Ireland Executive to reform the region’s alcohol licensing laws to enable more breweries to meet the growing demand for quality cask beer.

Consumers are encouraged to explore the curated selection, support local brewers by choosing cask beer at their pubs, and contribute to the UNESCO petition to help preserve this iconic British brewing tradition.
