Nusa Caña has partnered with Stock Spirits to expand its international distribution, starting in the UK in the coming weeks.
The brand is already available in more than 20 countries, including in the US through Mexcor International.
Nusa Caña rum debuted in Bali in 2016 and is the second-best-selling rum brand in Indonesia. It is also the fifth-best-selling rum brand in Greece, which has become a key market for the brand over the past four years.
The new Nusa Caña Coconut Island Rum will be distributed in the UK through The Drinks Company, which was acquired by Stock Spirits in April 2025.
It is hoped that the brand will replicate the success of Stock Spirits’ Sierra Tequila in the UK, where it is a leader in off-premise sales.
Global brand ambassador Dré Masso led the development of the brand’s new coconut-flavoured rum, which is blended and infused with all-natural young coconut flavour.
The resulting liquid is said to have an exotic coconut flavour, perfect for tropical cocktails and long drinks.
Nusa Caña recently underwent a brand refresh to enhance the story behind the rum and reflect the essence and lifestyle of the brand’s spiritual home, Bali.
Nusa Caña has launched a new website and unveiled new brand assets, aiming to attract a younger demographic seeking innovative rums and authentic origin stories. The brand hopes to appeal to consumers through its connection to Bali, one of the world’s most popular holiday destinations, and Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage of native sugar cane and exotic spices.
