Premium mixer brand Fever-Tree is expanding its product portfolio with the launch of two non-alcoholic canned cocktails aimed at meeting the growing consumer demand for sophisticated low- and no-alcohol options.
The new offerings — Mediterranean G&T and Italian Spritz — will be available in 250ml cans at Sainsbury’s and Waitrose starting next month, priced at £1.90 each.
Crafted with distilled botanicals and free from artificial flavourings or sweeteners, the drinks are designed to deliver a complex and refined drinking experience without the alcohol, the company said.
The Mediterranean G&T blends Fever-Tree’s Mediterranean Tonic Water with juniper berries and a medley of spice, citrus, and floral botanical extracts. Meanwhile, the Italian Spritz combines Fever-Tree’s Italian Blood Orange Soda with distilled herbs, spices, and citrus extracts, offering what the company describes as an “authentic and bittersweet spritz experience” inspired by traditional aperitifs.
Rose Cottingham, Fever-Tree’s Director of Innovation, said the launch reflects the company’s dedication to quality and flavour. “Fever-Tree has always been about elevating the drinking experience, crafting mixers with the same care and attention to detail as the finest spirits,” she said. “Our new non-alcoholic ready-to-drink cans build on that expertise, created for moments when people want the flavour, complexity, and texture of a cocktail, without the alcohol.”
Cottingham added that the development drew on Fever-Tree’s extensive experience in sourcing premium ingredients and extracting flavour without relying on alcohol. “This range reflects not just our commitment to taste, but our deep understanding of what makes a truly satisfying serve,” she said.
The launch comes as Fever-Tree continues to diversify beyond its traditional tonic water roots. In March, the company partnered with Margot Robbie’s Papa Salt Coastal Gin to release an alcoholic ready-to-drink product featuring its Italian Blood Orange Soda. Other recent ventures include a rosé wine-based spritz developed in collaboration with French producer Maison Mirabeau and the release of cocktail mixers in Margarita, Mojito, and Espresso Martini flavours in early 2023.
Today, non-tonic products account for approximately 45% of Fever-Tree’s global sales, underscoring the brand’s broader strategic shift into a wider beverage landscape.
