The National Trust of South Australia is set to host the Z Ward Wine Fair, a distinctive event that merges local winemaking with the rich history of one of Adelaide’s most storied buildings.
Held within the historic Z Ward in Glenside, the fair will open its ground and upper floors to the public, offering visitors the rare opportunity to explore the former asylum facility while sampling a curated selection of South Australian wines.
Inside the preserved cells of Z Ward, a range of wineries and independent winemakers from across the state will provide complimentary tastings. Attendees will also have the chance to purchase wines directly from the producers. Gourmet food offerings will be available on-site to complement the tasting experience.
The Z Ward Wine Fair will take place over two days—Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15, 2025. Entry is restricted to those aged 18 and over. Due to venue capacity limits, tickets must be purchased online in advance.
The event offers a compelling fusion of heritage and hospitality, inviting wine enthusiasts to enjoy premium local vintages in a uniquely atmospheric setting.
