Looking at the sub – indexes, the ring – price index for famous liquors was 99.96, down 0.04%; the ring – price index for local liquors was 99.88, down 0.12%; and the ring – price index for base liquor was 100.00, remaining stable.
In terms of fixed – base indexes, the national liquor commodity wholesale price fixed – base total index in early May was 108.84, up 8.84%. Among them, the fixed – base price index for famous liquors was 110.92, up 10.92%; the fixed – base price index for local liquors was 104.47, up 4.47%; and the fixed – base price index for base liquor was 110.22, up 10.22%.

Guizhou Adds 9 Liquor Investment Projects

Recently, the Guizhou Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau released 9 liquor projects, including: the Huangping County Liquor – Tourism Integration Construction Project with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. It mainly constructs a 10,000 – square – meter marketing service center, 20 production plants of 3,200 square meters each (with 800 cellars, including 400 Kunsha cellars and 400 Suisha cellars), a 20,000 – ton base liquor storage area, blending area, and matching shared canning and packaging production lines; the 50 – million – ton Liquor – making Project in Erlangshuitian, Xishui County, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. It plans to cover an area of about 220 mu, with an annual production capacity of 5,000 tons. It is planned to build production workshops, packaging workshops, staff dormitories, commercial service areas, and sewage treatment and other supporting facilities; the Anjiajing Area Sauce – flavor Liquor Project in Xingmin Town, Xishui County, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan. It plans to cover an area of about 704 mu, with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons. It is planned to build production workshops, packaging workshops, staff dormitories, commercial service areas, and sewage treatment and other supporting facilities; the Xishui Liquor Equipment Manufacturing Project, with a planned total investment of 500 million yuan and an area of about 42 mu. It is planned to build liquor equipment, including boilers, cranes, traveling cranes, etc., to provide supporting services for the county’s liquor industry; the Xishui County Liquor Production – Finance Digital Service Platform, with a planned total investment of about 100 million yuan. It provides services such as warehousing quality control, warehousing supervision, digital liquor certificates, traceability and anti – counterfeiting, financial services, and full – process credit trading and physical credit supervision for base liquor investment for liquor enterprises; the Zhenyuan County Liquor Production Project, with an investment of 250 million yuan. It constructs a liquor production project, including but not limited to the development of liquor, fruit wine, medicinal wine and other liquor products; the Huichuan District High – quality Liquor Industry Innovation Demonstration Park Project, with a total investment of 800 million yuan. It builds modern liquor brewing workshops, intelligent wine warehouses, high – end packaging production lines, and creates a liquor culture museum, a scientific and technological innovation center, a product display and trading center, etc.; the Boutique Winery Project in Xijiu Town, with a planned total investment of 100 million yuan. It mainly constructs a winery project centered around the experience of sauce – wine culture, including a wine storage area. It combines tourism reception and hotels and builds a boutique winery project according to the 3A and above standards; the Xishui County Sauce – wine Museum Project, with a planned total investment of about 100 million yuan. This project plans to create a place dedicated to introducing the history, technology, and culture of Xishui liquor. Through various physical exhibits, multimedia equipment, interactive experiences and other forms, it aims to enable the public to better understand and feel the liquor culture.

4 Liquor Industry Standards Released

According to the WeChat official account of the National Food Fermentation Standardization Center, recently, 4 liquor industry standards, namely “Fruit Wine – Part 4: Plum Wine”, “Fruit Wine – Part 5: Mulberry Wine”, “Cooking Rice Wine”, and “Fruit Wine – Part 7: Strawberry Wine”, were released and will be officially implemented on November 1, 2025.

The latest report by CGA by NIQ shows that the demand for Reposado tequila in the US on – premise consumption channel is squeezing the market share of other tequila categories.Data shows that in the 12 months ending at the end of February 2025, tequila accounted for 23.5% of the spirits sales volume in the US on – premise channel, an increase of 0.8% year – on – year.
