Since its launch a decade ago, the festival has maintained strong ties with the local craft community. Long-time supporters such as Big Shed Brewing, Little Bang Brewing Co, Lobo Cider, Mismatch Brewing Company, Pirate Life Brewing, Prancing Pony Brewery, and Vale Brewing will return for this year’s festivities at the Adelaide Showground.

This milestone edition will also spotlight emerging talent in the craft beverage scene. Local newcomers ill-intentions, a nano-scale brewery from Cherry Gardens, and family-run Jump Ship Brewing from Port Lincoln are among the first-timers. National names including Deep Elite (WA), Muffy Malone (VIC), Range Brewing (QLD), and Fox Friday (TAS) will also make their festival debuts.

For those less inclined toward beer, the festival offers a diverse non-beer lineup featuring popular names such as El Toro Tequila and Heaps Good Spirits, alongside 23rd Street Distillery, Somos Wines, and new cocktail specialists Kombi Crew, who will be serving beverages throughout the long weekend.

Music remains a cornerstone of the festival’s draw, with over 30 acts scheduled across three days. This year introduces ‘Legends Night’ on Sunday evening, headlined by Split Enz icon Tim Finn. Friday’s program concludes with rock veterans Wolfmother, while The Chats take center stage on Saturday with their signature pub-punk energy. Additional performances include Rocket Science, The Tarantinos, Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys, Gooch Palms, Dick Moves, and Andy Golledge. Local talent also features prominently, with acts such as Mondo Psycho, FREEGOLF, Halftime Oranges, My Chérie, Pelvis, and The Note Vote winner highlighting South Australia’s vibrant music scene.

Complementing the drinks and music is a stellar food lineup curated to satisfy all appetites. Festival favourites such as Melbourne’s Fancy Hanks and SA’s Baltic Fine Foods return, joined by low and slow barbecue specialists and fried food purveyors including Belles Hot Chicken, Sneaky Pickle, Bread & Bone Wood Grill, Smokin Grillers, and NOLA, which brings culinary collaborators Anchovy Bandit and La Louisiane.

Adding to the festival’s unique character are its signature “B-Sides” — a collection of offbeat attractions and interactive experiences. Attendees can expect crowd-pleasers such as the Beer Bod Wet T-Shirt Competition, eating challenges, silent disco, and Riot City Wrestling matches. Educational elements also feature, with masterclasses hosted by chefs and brewers. Additional entertainment includes BMX and skating demonstrations, a tattoo parlour, and a vibrant market area.

The Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival continues to evolve while staying true to its roots, offering an eclectic mix of craft culture, music, food, and community that sets it apart on South Australia’s event calendar.
