On June 16, The Honourable Todd McCarthy, Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks, visited Brock University’s Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI) for the first time.
During his tour of the Institute’s cutting-edge laboratories and extensive wine cellar, Minister McCarthy was briefed on CCOVI’s pioneering research, sustainability efforts, and its substantial contributions to the province’s grape and wine sector.
CCOVI Director Debbie Inglis and the Institute’s scientific team highlighted the vital role CCOVI plays in supporting Ontario’s growing wine industry through innovation and environmental stewardship.
