The Clumsy Cock in Clare launched its first-ever beer festival over the bank holiday weekend, drawing large crowds from midday until late evening.
According to co-owner Dominic Carter, the event marked a major success for the venue. “The beer festival and garden opening was a huge hit,” he said, noting high footfall throughout both days of the celebration.
The festivities featured live music performances each afternoon, alongside a dedicated cocktail bar set up in the garden using one of the pub’s signature cocktail caravans. Food was served throughout the day and nearly sold out, reflecting the strong turnout.
Carter confirmed that the success of the festival has prompted plans for future themed events. Upcoming ideas include a cider and sausage festival, a rum and reggae day, and a rosé-themed party.
