Tired Hands Brewing Co., a well-known craft brewery based in the Philadelphia region, is preparing to open a new location in downtown West Chester as part of a broader rebranding initiative.
The company, recognized for its signature IPAs and multiple James Beard Foundation award nominations, is undertaking a comprehensive transformation that includes new physical locations, updated food and beverage offerings, and interior renovations. As part of the rebrand, its original Ardmore location will be renamed Ardmore Brewing Co.
Owner Jean Broillet IV revealed that the move into West Chester has been in the works for several years and represents a strategic milestone for the business. The downtown area has long been targeted as a desired site for expansion.
Currently operating in Philadelphia, the Main Line, and Kennett Square, Tired Hands is aiming to unify its brand identity across all venues. The new locations, including the one planned for West Chester, will showcase redesigned black-and-white interiors, a streamlined beer list featuring two rotating seasonal selections, and a refreshed food menu.
Commenting on the concept behind the West Chester site, Broillet noted the uniqueness of the project, stating, “There’s nothing like it that I know of that exists in the States.”
The expansion underscores Tired Hands’ continued growth and innovation in the competitive craft beer market.
