BUFFALO, N.Y. — Genesee Brewing Company, based in Rochester, has launched a charitable beer campaign in partnership with Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue, a nonprofit animal rescue organization in Buffalo, to support rescue efforts across Western New York.
As part of the fundraising initiative, $1 will be donated to the rescue group for every 12- or 30-pack of Genesee beer sold. The campaign includes the brewery’s full lineup of core and specialty products, such as Kölschs and Pilsners. Participating retailers include Walmart, Tops, and Consumers Beverages.
The promotion runs from Sunday, May 11, through Saturday, July 5.
Organizers have set a goal of selling 5,000 cases, aiming to raise $5,000 in support of Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue.
