Baileys Harbor, WI — The scenic grounds of About Thyme Farm in Baileys Harbor will once again serve as the vibrant backdrop for two premier craft beverage celebrations this June. The 12th annual Door County Beer Festival is set for Saturday, June 14, followed by the Door County Wine Fest on June 21.
The Beer Festival invites craft beer enthusiasts to sample nearly 200 selections from 45 breweries and two homebrew clubs across Wisconsin and the Midwest. From noon to 4 p.m., attendees can enjoy unlimited tastings while listening to live performances by the band Open Tab. Each participant receives a commemorative tasting glass to enhance the experience.
To ensure safe and convenient access, organizers provide complimentary shuttle service from key locations including Sister Bay, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Baileys Harbor, and Ephraim. Parking is not available on-site, but a park-and-ride option is offered at Baileys Harbor Rec Park on Summit Road.
Following the beer event, the Door County Wine Fest will showcase over 80 wines from the region’s 10 wineries along the Door County Wine Trail. Featuring labels from Door Peninsula, Anchored Roots, Harbor Ridge, Mixed Meadia, Lautenbach’s Orchard Country, Lake Fire, Stone’s Throw, Simon Creek, Von Stiehl, and Door 44, the festival offers unlimited tastings of the area’s diverse vintages. Guests can meet the winemakers, sample artisanal cheeses from Hoard’s Dairyman Farm Creamery, and enjoy local food trucks paired with live music.
Both festivals highlight the rich craft beverage culture flourishing in Door County this summer.
