A new open-air cocktail bar in London, named Ten, has launched with a strong emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and artisanal mixology. The venue offers a curated selection of ten seasonal cocktails, each crafted using spirits, brews, and ingredients sourced from within a 10-mile radius of the capital.
Among the local producers featured are Beefeater Gin, Whitley Neill Gin, East London Liquor Co Rum, Doghouse Aperitivo, and Sapling Vodka. This hyper-local approach reflects the bar’s philosophy of prioritizing “craftsmanship over complexity,” aiming to spotlight the quality of each ingredient.
Highlights from the menu include the Coconut Beegroni—a tropical twist on a classic, made with Beefeater London Dry Gin, Beesou bitter honey aperitif, and coconut water—and the Doppelgänger Aperitivo Spritz, which combines Doghouse Doppelgänger Aperitivo, pink grapefruit soda, and English sparkling wine. Each cocktail is priced at approximately £12 (US$16).
The project is led by hospitality entrepreneur Jimmy Garcia, known for previous ventures including The Chalet at Somerset House and Jimmy’s BBQ Club at the Southbank Centre. Garcia described the concept as one that balances tradition and innovation: “Our goal was to create a diverse and approachable menu, from refreshing citrus blends to deep, spirit-forward classics. By honouring the roots of mixology, we’re allowing each ingredient to shine.”
Ten is now open daily from 12pm to 11pm and will operate through 30 April 2026.
The bar joins a wave of recent openings in London’s drinks scene, including Parasol in Dalston and Laki Kane in Islington.
