Negociants New Zealand has announced the return of its annual Fine Wine Tour, scheduled for July 2025, showcasing a prestigious selection of award-winning wines from New Zealand and Australia.
The announcement comes just days after Negociants NZ celebrated 40 years of national distribution of premium wines from around the globe. This year’s tour will offer both trade professionals and the general public an opportunity to experience a curated portfolio of distinguished wines.
The tour will visit three major cities, with events scheduled as follows:
Auckland: Monday, 21 July, at The Hilton Auckland
Wellington: Tuesday, 22 July, at Te Wharewaka o Pōneke
Christchurch: Wednesday, 23 July, at The Christchurch Town Hall
Trade customers are invited to attend sessions from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with registration available at www.negociants.com/nz/events. Members of the public can purchase tickets for evening sessions, running from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., through the same website.
Tickets for the public session include all tastings, an event booklet detailing all wines and recommended retail prices, light refreshments, and a Riedel Ouverture Magnum wine glass presented in a takeaway gift carton.
The lineup of participating New Zealand wineries includes:
- Black Barn Vineyards and Smith & Sheth (Hawke’s Bay)
- Palliser Estate (Martinborough)
- Urlar (Gladstone)
- Auntsfield, Fromm, Greywacke, Nautilus Estate, and Saint Clair Family Estate (Marlborough)
- Mt Beautiful Wines (Cheviot)
- Pyramid Valley (North Canterbury)
- Rippon Vineyard, Two Paddocks, and Misha’s Vineyard (Central Otago)
Representing Australia are:
- d’Arenberg (McLaren Vale)
- Jim Barry Wines (Clare Valley)
- Langmeil (Barossa Valley)
- Yalumba and Chaffey Bros. (Barossa and Eden Valleys)
- Vasse Felix (Margaret River)
Additionally, non-alcoholic options from Terps & Co, as well as Antipodes Still and Sparkling Water, will be available throughout the event.
