Cutty Sark, the well-known Scotch whisky brand, has introduced a new ready-to-drink (RTD) version of its signature serve: whisky and ginger ale. The product is now available in a pre-mixed 250ml can, with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 5%.
Blended Scotch and Ginger Ale in a Convenient Format
This new release combines Cutty Sark blended Scotch whisky with ginger ale to create a light, refreshing highball. It aims to offer convenience without compromising on taste.
Stephen Woodcock, master blender at Cutty Sark, described the launch as a major step forward for the brand.
“The Cutty Sark & Ginger Ale Highball is the latest chapter in our 100-year legacy of pushing boundaries and embracing new possibilities,” he said.
“It offers whisky lovers – and anyone after a simple yet elevated drink – a refreshing, convenient way to enjoy the iconic taste of Cutty Sark, wherever their adventures take them.”
Product Now Available in the US
The new RTD is currently on sale at select retailers across the United States. It is priced at a recommended retail price (RRP) of US$9.99 for a four-pack.
Marketing Support and Expansion Plans
To promote the launch, Cutty Sark’s owner, La Martiniquaise-Bardinet, is rolling out a 360-degree marketing campaign. This includes:
-
Product sampling at whisky shows
-
Bold, branded truck wraps
-
Updated in-store displays
In addition to the US market, the product will also be available in Portugal and Bulgaria later this summer.
