Le Méridien Bangkok is set to host “An Evening of Austrian Elegance,” an exclusive wine dinner spotlighting the refined art of Austrian winemaking. The event will take place on 21 May 2025, from 19:00 to 22:00 at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Tempo.
The evening will feature a rare gathering of three distinguished Austrian winemakers: Markus Bach of Eisenberg, Johannes Gebeshuber of the Thermenregion, and the Kirnbauer family from Burgenland. Each will present a selection of their award-winning wines, offering guests an immersive journey through Austria’s diverse terroirs and time-honoured viticultural traditions.
A six-course menu, accompanied by a curated dessert, has been designed to complement the wines. The culinary offerings include bold Eisenberg reds, elegant indigenous varietals, and vibrant blends from the Pannonian region. Highlights of the evening’s menu include pan-seared Wagyu beef, garlic-butter prawns, foie gras, and Norwegian salmon—each dish meticulously paired to enhance the profile of the accompanying wine.
