DULUTH — A new bar in Duluth is set to bring a taste of big-city nightlife to the Twin Ports. Altitude Cocktails officially opened its doors on Saturday, offering an upscale cocktail experience inspired by the vibrant bar scenes of New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas.
Owner Alex Taray, whose passion for mixology is rooted in his travels, explained his vision for the venue: “I’ve been heavily inspired by the styles of New York, Chicago, and Vegas, and I want to bring those exciting experiences here to Duluth.”
Located at the back of Zenith Basecamp at the corner of 27th Avenue West and Superior Street in Duluth’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, Altitude promises a carefully crafted menu with an emphasis on quality ingredients and great technique.
All syrups used at Altitude will be made in-house, and the bar prides itself on using freshly squeezed citrus whenever it’s available in northern Minnesota. For those who prefer alcohol-free options, Taray ensures that there are plenty of non-alcoholic beverages available to suit all tastes.
“We want to offer something for everyone,” Taray said, underscoring the inclusive nature of his bar’s offerings. “Whether you’re enjoying a cocktail or choosing not to consume alcohol, we’ve got something great for you.”
